COMMUNITY MENTAL HEALTH PROGRAMS

Community mental health centers offer specialized counseling and support services for older adults and their families. These programs usually accept Medicaid, have a sliding fee scale, and offer low cost services.

DAY HOSPITAL PROGRAMS

Partial hospitalization programs or day hospital programs are intensive outpatient psychiatric treatment programs in which individuals participate daily in intensive group treatment.
